Trial Data
One of PBRA’s most important activities is the trialling of new ryegrass, cereal and maize varieties.
The outcomes of these trials provide farmers, and industry, with the information they need to select the varieties most suited for specific farm environments, systems and objectives.
Respective committees have established world-class protocols for running these trials. Importantly, these protocols are reviewed annually and adjusted to ensure the trials are always run to the highest possible standard. This means farmers can use the varieties that have been tested through the PBRA trials with confidence.
